Jason Johnson Founder of Project K-9 Hero is doing a special service for First Responder K-9s that have retired from duty. He talks about his organization on the show and how he and his team have been able to provide medical and financial assistance for military/police trained K-9s that have retired because of age or medical necessity. Prior to his organization the responsibility of medical and burial fees was required of those that adopted the K9s. Now with the help of Project K-9 Hero, adoptees can help transition these animal heroes into a much earned retirement and not fear the financial burdens of surgeries or even burial costs.
