Many of my friends growing up know her as “Mama Rice” as she was always volunteering for field trips for choir and left her door open for our random lunch visits from school days (when we could drive 😊).
She shares about her upbringing, the challenge of growing up without her father and her resilient attitude towards living a life she believes she was called to lead. We also talk about her musical gifts, educational gifts and her kind heart.
