Joining a group of similar interests can massively improve your social health as well as your mental health. There is something magical that happens when like-minded people get together. Assuming that the group is formed with a positive and intentional focus that is. Too often, in the United States especially, people work too hard! They get caught up in their families and forget to do things for themselves. Joining a choir, team crochet group, hiking photography groups or other can massively transform your life!
Being around others that are like-minded can bring you joy. If you have something to look forward to every week (even if you hate your day job), it gives you a sense of hope. It is estimated that 70-85% of people hate their jobs. The following tips are suggestions to help transform your life by doing things that you are familiar with.
Tip #1: Pick something you LOVE and join a meetup.org group or other networking event!
Just by signing up to the email list I received an email about a music group in my town that meets three times a month. It’s free and I’m joining 🎤🎶.
I went to my first rehearsal and connected with other business owners and now we’re planning lunch dates to help each other grow our businesses.
